Here are some of the major events that have been canceled or postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak:
- the 2020 Tokyo Olympics
- the Cannes Film Festival
- the 74th Annual Tony Awards
- the Spring Quarter face-to-face on campus
- our church service each Sabbath
- the regular coffee break with friends
- hugging our seniors
- trip to see the newly born granddaughter in Germany (that’s a hard one!)
… and the list goes on!
There are a number of things that have not been canceled:
- the sun has not been canceled
- reading has not be canceled
- music has not been canceled
- imagination has not been canceled
- prayer has not been canceled
- hope has not been canceled
- love has not been canceled
- the beauty of nature has not been canceled
- God’s grace has not been canceled
- God’s love for you has not been canceled
- the opportunities to show others God’s love have not been canceled
