Aside from the required weekly chapel attendance, you might be craving more opportunities to worship on campus. Whether you want to serve others or spend some time in nature, you can find a place to worship with our community.
First Service
Join your fellow students for a Friday night vespers service in Hole Memorial Hall. The service includes worship music performed by students and a short sermon. Afterwards, stick around for snacks and conversation.
Mount Two-Bit Hikes
Throughout the quarter, hikes up the mountain behind the campus are offered by the Spiritual Life Office. Meet at sunset to enjoy nature and a discussion about faith and your spiritual journey.
Prayer on the Lawn
During lunch hours, a group of students gather together on the lawn to pray and share stories—picnic style!
Outreach
Wanting to do more with your Sabbath afternoons? Join the Outreach group on a trip to serve the community, performing tasks like feeding the homeless and cleaning up local parks.
Rendezvous
Join the student association-run service held weekly at 10 p.m. on Wednesdays in Hole Memorial Auditorium for praise music and guest speakers from our campus as well as the local community.
Chaplain One-On-One Bible Study
Meet with a chaplain to start a one-on-one Bible study to get to know Jesus and develop a deeper relationship with God.
If none of these options sounds right for you, that’s okay too. We welcome each student to develop their personal spiritual relationships in whatever way seems right for them. We hope that you will find fulfillment, no matter what worship activities you take part in!
